It has been so long that I didn't write in my blog and do any traveling like I did before. It was quite tough with the situation that I'm having in the office and life sometime not so kind enough to myself. My work was great, but I don't have anybody to assist me during my absent, so taking a long leave would be very difficult. But yet, traveling is in me and I love it so much, so I just want to share some of my picturesque short break since early this year till now. I was in Hanoi, Langkawi and Bali from 30 Nov - 11 December of 2010. That was a very long end-of-year holiday. Left to Hanoi with MH just to enjoying the weather and relaxing the mind from thinking about work (but it doesn't really work). I was in Koh Samui for a 2nd time from June 23rd – 27th, 2010. The 1st time was long ago, with Berjaya Air but now I’m with Fireflyz. Last time, I stayed at Impiana Resort in Chaweng Noi, and explored the Island with car. But this time, I just want to be a beach bum and stayed at Al’s Resort, Chaweng. I love the beach and the ocean so much that I just want to be there all the time. As soon as I arrived and passed the immigration, I was stopped by so many sales guys, to offer so many things. I took the free local sim card, coz I need to make calls to home and I only need to top up at 7-eleven. Another offer was a free airport transfer to and fro and Vouchers worth Baht 4000 for meal & spa and the trap was I only need to attend a talk at Marriott’s Vacation Club, somewhere in Chaweng. I don’t have any problem with that, coz I have plenty of time. But for me it was a good offer. On the 10th – 12th April 2010, I took AirAsia to Singapore. I have relatives in Singapore but this time, not a visit to see families. Just a ‘lepaking’ in town and to see what is new and latest in the market. I stayed in Orchard Hotel, had a drink in Hard Rock Café and ‘jalan-jalan cari makan’ in Bugis, Clark Quay and visited the most talk about in town “Resort World”. During this trip I had my gastritis, how nice.

Once in a while, I must have a break with my nephews. So this time, 13th – 14th February 2010 (before CNY), I took them to Genting Theme Park. Let them enjoy the games but pity the last boy, he is too small to take any adventures ride. He said ‘tak mencabar’ not challenging at all.

After London, on 3rd – 6th February 2010, I had a short break in Jakarta, a shopping spree or whatever it can be called. I stayed in Atlet Century, near Senayan. Meet up with my friends (Vira, Arin, Happy & Mimi) at Oh La La Café Thamrin, on the 5th February 2010. Jakarta was like my 2nd home, only that I cannot buy any house there.

I have not been posting my travelogue for quite some time or I’m not been traveling that often. Early this year, I was in London – Manchester – Liverpool for about 2 weeks. It was icy, freeze England and yet I enjoyed my holiday. Arrived London on the 7th of January, stayed two nights, in the Chester Hotel near Victoria Station, a very small and lousy hotel, but I'm not supposed to comment alot coz I chose that hotel. I hop on and hop off around London, sightseeing and freezing. Nice weather indeed. I took a coach (National Express) from Victoria Bus Station to Manchester on the 9th of January, 09:30am and arrived Manchester about 2:00 pm. Stayed at Midland Hotel for one night. Happy Mother’s day to all mothers in the world. Mak, I will always love you. You are more than anything in the world to me. I always make you worry, but it never my intention. I'm sorry if I unable to fulfil your wish, but I will try my best to make you happy. Even though I’m not a mother, I will always a mommy to my four nephews Aiman, Akmal, Arfan & Ammar and also my Lil’ Owen. All of you never fail to amaze me!

My gastritis is getting worse. I don't want to have this pain every morning. I've finished my medication, but why the pain still poking my stomach? I've stopped drinking coffee, completely stop! A coffee drinker stopped drink coffee.. haha! I used alot of naproxen as a pain killer before. That is one that lead to my gastritis too. And the third one is stress. I took Antiacid, but it seems not helping at all. I'm controlling all my food intake, no acidic food and chillies. I read somewhere, it saying to eat certain categories of food separately. Patients are advised to eat protein foods by themselves or with green leafy vegetables; to eat fruits alone; and to avoid combining proteins and starches. Next will be the treatment... I will need to see my Dr for an advise.

I had this serious stomach pain almost everyday since last week, but I thought it's because of some food I took. I had to cancel my meeting with my friend last weekend, I can't really sit in the office, I had cold sweat and sometime felt like vomiting after meal. I've been delaying my appointment with Dr., due to my busy-ness and scared to know what is really happening. Today, I had the courage to go to the clinic, accompanying me, my two nephews ... and Dr. said.. that's gastric! Your blood pressure is 120/70 and you have to continue taking the medcine for about two weeks, than you should be fine... !
