Annual Party & Owen

Image
Last week was a short week, with holiday in the middle. We had our Annual Party at HQ in Queen Avenue, KL. It’s a new office and they want all the staff to know each other. As always I’m not so lucky with Lucky Draw. This is what I got (it’s my lucky number (27) but not lucky gift)... I've been searching for a pet for quite sometimes because I want the pet to live with me at home and I want my home to be a little bit lively. It has been very quiet since my three little baby nephews starting schooling and they all are always busy with their activities. They have morning school, evening school, and mengaji at night, Abacus on Saturday and at their parents’ house on Sunday. So last Friday, Tiara and I, we drove all the way to Ampang to pick him up. He's very cute. Let me introduce him.... Owen (not vary from his previous name Oren). He is showing his tantrum on the first day, and don’t want to sleep at night. Keep calling me and sleep next to me. Second day, I took him to vet for

Why love is so complicated?

It’s like a crossword puzzle, or way too complicated then that. Is it worth? People said, the harder something is to obtain, the more it is worth. I don’t know! It’s just too complicated for me. At time I just can’t handle it.

Today and yesterday..

A massive traffic jam today from Klang to PJ. I stuck for about 2 hours and I reach office 10 minutes after nine. 2 accidents, one in Shah Alam and another one right after exit Jalan Templer. What a great start for a week. Last Saturday, we're having our Annual Kick-Off Meeting at Palm Garden Hotel, IOI Resort, Putrajaya. Meeting ended 5pm. Food was nice but it was a rush lunch and we don’t have time to really enjoying the meal. Yesterday, my aunt (I hate the most adore less [not odorless]) invited me to his son's 5th birthday, Hadzril (I'm not sure of the name, whom I called Ajeghil). So I decided to drop by for a while, (if it's not for my uncle, I would never come). And this is just to show to Tiara , the laksa that she loves so much. Right after makan that Laksa, I drove to Subang Parade to collect photo prints from Fotokem, than window shopping at Parkson. (Window shopping only) But terbeli (unfortunately I bought) this shoe and terus pakai (use it straight away)

Friday

what a boring day. network down @ office. tomorrow Kick-off (kick-arse) meeting. LD call today to remind me of the facial tomorrow at 3pm but I have to postponed it to next weekend or the following weekend but both on waiting list.

Lucky number 5

I don’t want to think much of the number things, but the number keep on coming again and again. I’m trying to console myself with... (It’s just a number, it’s just a number, it’s just a number, and it’s just a number)... And I decided to put it into such a positive kind of approach all together. So it’s going to be my lucky number for this year, I chose number 5. Actually number 5 already my lucky number all this while; it just that this year it become very obvious. It’s going to be my 35th birthday (InsyaAllah), it’s going to be our 15th Anniversary (InsyaAllah), I was born in the month of (5) May and I have less than 5 months to go before becoming 35-year young aunt, bitch & lover to that one guy, daughter to Mr & Mrs MR, sister to her 3 siblings, a friend to all her friends and more than 5 months to celebrate the 15th of her love affairs. Good that I can put all that together huh! What coming for me this year? I can’t see, for real. My motto for this year is "If you’re

TODAY'S INSPIRATION

HOW TO STAY YOUNG 1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight, and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay them. 2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down. (Keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches!) 3. Keep learning: Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain get idle. "An idle mind is the devil's workshop." And the devil's name is Alzheimer's! 4. Enjoy the simple things 5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath. And if you have a friend who makes you laugh, spend lots and lots of time with him or her! 6. The tears happen: Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with us our entire life, is our self. LIVE while you are alive. 7. Surround yourself with what you love: Whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies and whatever. Your home is your refuge. 8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is u

So Close - Jon McLaughlin

You’re in my arms And all the world is calm The music playing on for only two So close together And when I’m with you So close to feeling alive A life goes by Romantic dreams will stop So I bid mine goodbye and never knew So close was waiting, waiting here with you And now forever I know All that I wanted to hold you So close So close to reaching that famous happy end Almost believing this was not pretend And now you’re beside me and look how far we’ve come So far we are so close How could I face the faceless days If I should lose you now? We’re so close To reaching that famous happy end And almost believing this was not pretend Let’s go on dreaming for we know we are So close So close And still so far

Happy New Year 2008

Usually I celebrate New Year somewhere not home or somewhere away from home. But this year I’m here at home, in front of the notebook, writing, dreaming, thinking and almost (crying)... uhuk... When travel abroad or any local destination, huge money being used for flight, hotel, travel agent and etc. Because no spending for travelling this New Year, the money goes to... shopping. Yesterday, I did my shopping at Amcorp Mall, Petaling Jaya. I bought myself a Kebaya Nyonya (I really want to buy this Kebaya, have been admiring it for the past countless years), two pairs of shoes and some cookies. And as for today, we were shopping at KLCC Parkson. We bought perfume Incanto Shine (for me) and another for K both from Salvatore Ferragamo and SKII, the treatment essence. We had dinner at Nando’s KLCC. Too many people, so we decided to go back before KLCC become jam-packed. Previous New Year destinations... 2007 – Agra, India (Delhi, Jaipur, Agra) 2006 – Surabaya, Indonesia 2005 – Bandung, Indo
