2nd Vaccination

Image
Ouch! Owen kena cucuk. His 2nd vaccination. He looks very cool and quiet. Dr suggested for neuter. She said, the benefits of neutering a male house cat far outweigh any disadvantages. After neutering, male cats seldom spray urine, the urine loses its skunky odor, and the cat seems contented to stay home more, fight less, and we humans have the assurance that he won't be fathering any more litters! Still thinking...

Pavilion KL

Image
Last Sunday for the first time, I went to Pavilion KL . Road was very clear. It took us about 15 minutes from Sunway to reach KL. It’s a place for all the luxury boutiques, for whom has extra bucks to spend and once in a while it’s still okay for me. But still we can shop at Parkson, Sports outlets & other outlets. I bought K Adidas t-shirt, its look good on him and I told him one only please. He said I’m too calculative. Of coz lah, I’m being very prudent. Firstly we had our coffee at Toast Box, a kampong kopitiam-styled coffee houses serving mainly coffee and kaya toast at Gourmet Emporium area. The Kaya toast is very nice, not that sweet. I love it. Then we walk around from one floor to another visit Parkson and Adidas. Others not at this time because no sales. We stop for munching at The Loaf . I ordered Mushroom Quiche and for K, Almond Loaf, plus 1 café Latte. Mushroom Quiche is a must try. We sat by the Bukit Bintang road.

Lion Dance & Loh Yee Sang Lunch

Image
Lion dance in the office. Loh Yee Sang at Sri Melaka, Amcorp Mall, Petaling Jaya. The fish is too small for a group of 10-pax in table. That size of fish is only for one person. It was very ridiculous and very expensive. Menu: i. Norwegian Salmon Yee Sang (Ok! Nice) ii. Three Combination Platter (Ok lah) iii. Eight Treasures Sharkfin Soup (Vegetarian Sharkfin) (Not that nice but I don’t support shark killing, so this is ok) iv.Salted Egg Prawns (Ok! Nice) v. Assorted Vegetables with Broccoli (Ok! Nice) vi.Deep Fried Sea Grouper in Superior Soya Sauce (Very, very small) vii. Special Crispy Chicken (Ok lah, not really crispy) viii. Iced Longan with Sea Coconut (Ok! Nice) ix.Chinese Tea OR Iced Lemon Tea x. Steamed Rice

Angah's Bday

Image
It was my sister Angah's birthday, today, 16th February. After my facial, I bought her Sembonia handbag from Parkson then when back home to see Owen, after that I took my mom, aunt and nenek to her place in Port Klang. She prepared Nasi Lemak, Cakes, fruits, some kuih and ordered Satay. Her hubby and friends make the grill stuffs (fish, crabs, squids). Angah loves to cook. May Allah shower her with happiness, health & wealth.

Tony Roma's

Image
Tony Roma's is one of my favorite dining places. It’s famous for ribs, but in Malaysia of coz no pork. So we call it, Tony Roma’s Abdullah. I like their Onion Loaf. On Friday, I feel like eating Onion Loaf, so I & K went to their outlet in Sunway Pyramid after gym. We have dined in Cineleisure Damansara before. First time I try their Onion Loaf when I was in Hong Kong. Tony Roma's was located at Times Square, Hong Kong Island. And that was after few hours walking around the Island looking for a building with a big clock and a big square. What a landmark.

Thinking too much..

Image
Last weekend was a very long holiday but yet I don’t have any plan to go anywhere. mmm why such things happen? When you want to go for a vacation, you have to look for a long holiday to mix it with Annual Leave, but when you have long holiday, you can’t set your mind. So when your Annual Leaves are almost finished and the year have not come to the end yet, you screaming. Last year more then 5 times I went for vacations. And this year, I’m still not planning anything yet and my brain doesn’t really work as good as last year or maybe a bit lazy to work. Or maybe the brain was busy thinking about something else. “Something else” that really bothering me. I’m a bit depressed but I hope not until I’m depending on any pills to live. I still can control my depression. Just that my migraine has becoming a regular visitor lately. I’ve checked few websites to view few places, visit travel forums on how to travel, what to do or when to go and to name a few, those spots are Krabi, Chennai and the ...

Irony

Men : 1. All men are extremely busy. 2. Although they are so busy, they still have time for women. 3. Although they have time for women, they don't really care for them. 4. Although they don't really care for them, they always have one around. 5. Although they always have one around them, they always try their luck with others. Women : 1. The most important thing for a woman is financial security. 2. Although this is so important, they still go out and buy expensive clothes and stuff. 3. Although they always buy expensive clothes, they never have something to wear. 4. Although they never have something to wear, they always dress beautifully. 5. Although they always dress beautifully, their clothes are always just "an old rag". 6. Although their clothes are always "just an old rag", they still expect you to compliment them. 7. Annual Party & Owen

Image
Last week was a short week, with holiday in the middle. We had our Annual Party at HQ in Queen Avenue, KL. It’s a new office and they want all the staff to know each other. As always I’m not so lucky with Lucky Draw. This is what I got (it’s my lucky number (27) but not lucky gift)... I've been searching for a pet for quite sometimes because I want the pet to live with me at home and I want my home to be a little bit lively. It has been very quiet since my three little baby nephews starting schooling and they all are always busy with their activities. They have morning school, evening school, and mengaji at night, Abacus on Saturday and at their parents’ house on Sunday. So last Friday, Tiara and I, we drove all the way to Ampang to pick him up. He's very cute. Let me introduce him.... Owen (not vary from his previous name Oren). He is showing his tantrum on the first day, and don’t want to sleep at night. Keep calling me and sleep next to me. Second day, I took him to vet for...

Why love is so complicated?

It’s like a crossword puzzle, or way too complicated then that. Is it worth? People said, the harder something is to obtain, the more it is worth. I don’t know! It’s just too complicated for me. At time I just can’t handle it.

Today and yesterday..

Image
A massive traffic jam today from Klang to PJ. I stuck for about 2 hours and I reach office 10 minutes after nine. 2 accidents, one in Shah Alam and another one right after exit Jalan Templer. What a great start for a week. Last Saturday, we're having our Annual Kick-Off Meeting at Palm Garden Hotel, IOI Resort, Putrajaya. Meeting ended 5pm. Food was nice but it was a rush lunch and we don’t have time to really enjoying the meal. Yesterday, my aunt (I hate the most adore less [not odorless]) invited me to his son's 5th birthday, Hadzril (I'm not sure of the name, whom I called Ajeghil). So I decided to drop by for a while, (if it's not for my uncle, I would never come). And this is just to show to Tiara , the laksa that she loves so much. Right after makan that Laksa, I drove to Subang Parade to collect photo prints from Fotokem, than window shopping at Parkson. (Window shopping only) But terbeli (unfortunately I bought) this shoe and terus pakai (use it straight away) ...

Friday

Lucky number 5

Image
I don’t want to think much of the number things, but the number keep on coming again and again. I’m trying to console myself with... (It’s just a number, it’s just a number, it’s just a number, and it’s just a number)... And I decided to put it into such a positive kind of approach all together. So it’s going to be my lucky number for this year, I chose number 5. Actually number 5 already my lucky number all this while; it just that this year it become very obvious. It’s going to be my 35th birthday (InsyaAllah), it’s going to be our 15th Anniversary (InsyaAllah), I was born in the month of (5) May and I have less than 5 months to go before becoming 35-year young aunt, bitch & lover to that one guy, daughter to Mr & Mrs MR, sister to her 3 siblings, a friend to all her friends and more than 5 months to celebrate the 15th of her love affairs. Good that I can put all that together huh! What coming for me this year? I can’t see, for real. My motto for this year is "If you’re...

TODAY'S INSPIRATION

HOW TO STAY YOUNG 1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight, and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay them. 2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down. (Keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches!) 3. Keep learning: Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain get idle. "An idle mind is the devil's workshop." And the devil's name is Alzheimer's! 4. Enjoy the simple things 5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath. And if you have a friend who makes you laugh, spend lots and lots of time with him or her! 6. The tears happen: Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with us our entire life, is our self. LIVE while you are alive. 7. Surround yourself with what you love: Whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies and whatever. Your home is your refuge. 8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is u...

So Close - Jon McLaughlin

You’re in my arms And all the world is calm The music playing on for only two So close together And when I’m with you So close to feeling alive A life goes by Romantic dreams will stop So I bid mine goodbye and never knew So close was waiting, waiting here with you And now forever I know All that I wanted to hold you So close So close to reaching that famous happy end Almost believing this was not pretend And now you’re beside me and look how far we’ve come So far we are so close How could I face the faceless days If I should lose you now? We’re so close To reaching that famous happy end And almost believing this was not pretend Let’s go on dreaming for we know we are So close So close And still so far

Happy New Year 2008

Image
Usually I celebrate New Year somewhere not home or somewhere away from home. But this year I’m here at home, in front of the notebook, writing, dreaming, thinking and almost (crying)... uhuk... When travel abroad or any local destination, huge money being used for flight, hotel, travel agent and etc. Because no spending for travelling this New Year, the money goes to... shopping. Yesterday, I did my shopping at Amcorp Mall, Petaling Jaya. I bought myself a Kebaya Nyonya (I really want to buy this Kebaya, have been admiring it for the past countless years), two pairs of shoes and some cookies. And as for today, we were shopping at KLCC Parkson. We bought perfume Incanto Shine (for me) and another for K both from Salvatore Ferragamo and SKII, the treatment essence. We had dinner at Nando’s KLCC. Too many people, so we decided to go back before KLCC become jam-packed. Previous New Year destinations... 2007 – Agra, India (Delhi, Jaipur, Agra) 2006 – Surabaya, Indonesia 2005 – Bandung, Indo...

What's in your handbag?

Image
Today, I’m carrying Lacoste bag. Small bag so not much I can put in. I change my handbag frequently so sometimes I left things that I need in the other bag. So here it is I’m revealing the treasure that I’m carrying almost every day. Peek-a-boo... a quick glance from the top! Here are some of my treasures... (Quite a lot huh!) Sometimes I just wonder where those entire things come from or do I really need all that. Anyway that’s what handbag is for, isn’t it right! It’s supposed to be handy. That is my Bluetooth for my SE K800i, USB cable for HP iPaq 3550 & two thumb drives. Next are the painkiller which I use only when needed, they are Symflex 550 and Cafergot. I’m migrainer that’s why I have to carry that anywhere. Then peach mints and my supplements, Lecithin and Salmon Oil. Both are for dietary purposes. These are two of my lovely gadgets. Most important items to be carried anywhere. I can WIFI using my iPaq whenever necessary and that camera phone is awesome. Screensaver with ...
