Shopping Spree in Bandung 11-14 Dec 08

Every time I go somewhere, Mom always said, she never been to Bandung, let's go to Bandung, people said Bandung is good for shopping, this and that… It's annoying me! Some more she only wants to go during school holiday. I don't want to disappoint her. She has been disappointed a lot, especially by me. I want to make her happy, no matter what it takes, I will try to makes her happy.

I made the booking in May 2008 but still couldn’t get the cheapest AA rate. But all of them are happy with the booking. I browsing internet to get cheapest hotel and also transport for the tour. Manage to get Hotel Cemerlang, which is very near to Pasar Baru and transport from Amirseun which only cost me less IDR500k/day inclusive of petrol and driver.

The 1st day...

My flight to Bandung is in the morning, 0950hrs. So I have to depart from house before 0700hrs. When I reached mom's place, everybody are ready to go... My dad drove four of us to LCCT. Reached airport by 0800hrs and we have plenty of time for check in and lepaking… During check in, the ground staff didn’t even mention about the seating number. Everybody is rushing into the plane and got their wanted seat but only than the stewardess informing about the seat number. It's havoc, peoples at the back have to go to front, and people in the front have to go to the back... And flight is full.

When we reached Bandung, the ground officer said the immigration form just finished, so we have to wait few more minutes. My headache started. I fill up all the four forms and get into line. Collect our luggage and lucky the hotel staff already waited for us out side airport.

Hotel Cemerlang was nice, clean and friendly 2 star hotel. The only out is I forgot to bring my coffee and the pain killer and they don't give complimentary coffee facility. I couldnt find any K mart nearby or I just cant go around to check coz all the (old) ladies dont want to walk. It is okay. I show them Pasar Baru and we took Angkutan. They love it. We had lunch at Warung Makan Ampera opposite of Pasar Baru. After a short shopping program, they wanted to pack food from Ampera before going back to hotel.

Day 2..

At 0900 hrs, we depart to Tangkuban Perahu, Ciater (Sari Ater Hotspring), Kampung Daun Village, Rumah Mode & Jalan Riau. My mom not feeling well today, so we have to shorten the trip. Dinner - room service

Day 3..

After breakfast, all ladies are ready for shopping.. Shopping bag, money... all ready! One whole day I'm in Pasar Baru and we had late lunch at Ampera (again). I just couldnt eat anything. Too tired.

Day 4..

It is time to go home and carry all our (extra) luggages.
