Shopping Spree
I went to Hong Kong end of last month to catch up some last minutes end-summer-sales. Actually the tickets and hotel was from Golden Holidays Package which was given by my friend whom cannot go for her free holiday and as for me I do plan to go earlier to Hong Kong for summer sales (it has been a yearly program) but didn't manage to get cheap air ticket. So this is more or less I'm lucky to get it. (I paid some amount to her)
When I arrived at Chep Lap Kok Airport, a tour guide waited us for hotel transfer. Once he saw me, he asks me to wait at one corner near the train ticket's machine. After waited for a while he said, gives me 10 minutes coz I need to wait for another groups. I said ok. So I waited again. After more than 15 minutes I don't see the groups that been waited together with us. Where they gone? So I search around for the tour guide. I cannot find him. After a while I saw him standing near the passenger entrance. I walk to him and ask him, so what happen? You said 10 minutes; it has been 20 minutes waiting. He said, so sorry, I cannot find you just now, so the first group has gone. You need to wait for the 2nd trip to Kowloon. I screamed at him, you ask me to wait there and I'm not move a bit from that place and now you said you cannot find me. @#$% I'm pissed so I go back to the seat. I was so tired, my flight was 9am and that was 4 hours flight, reaching HK at 1 pm and now already 2:30pm. When he saw me pissed, he decided to offer me another transport to Hotel, Airport Hotelink limousine. It's a shuttle bus. I agreed, but still I have to wait another 30 minutes for that shuttle. The tour guide offer us short tour in Hong Kong Island tomorrow morning, so we agreed with that too. The time was 2:45pm and the shuttle move from Airport at 3:15pm. And almost 5pm we checked in the hotel. Stanford Hotel, Mongkok. What a lousy hotel! I slept until night, was so tired. I came out of the hotel to look for some simple dinner. There gone day one.

Day two; after simple breakfast in the room (by me), we waited for the bus to arrive at 8am for the Half-a-day Hong Kong Island tour.

After completed our Island Tour, bus drop us at Tsim Sha Tsui. We waited for friend; names John who is coming from Shenzhen. He is Malaysian. So our meeting place is Adidas Shop. Haha... Those are the people who craze for Adidas stuff. Meeting place also Adidas shop in Hankow Rd. The biggest Adidas shop I ever been. But while waiting for John, we walk around Tsim Sha Tsui, Granville Rd, Kimberley Rd than stop at Park Lane. John bought plenty of Liverpool stuff from that shop. He said it’s cheapest than Malaysia. Stuff in Hong Kong, after finished one season, they throw everything into crazy sale. So grab lahh... I bought one T-shirt and Jacket with Steven Gerard’s name on it. After makan-makan and minum-minum, we walk back to the hotel. It’s very far but because we accompanying John to Jordan Road for him to take a bus back to Shenzhen, so we walk.
Day three; woke up a bit late today. We had brunch in the room. Imagine how many stuff I brought from KL! We decided to take MTR from Mongkok to Tsim Sha Tsui. Today is my day for shopping. First place we headed was Harbour City. I had Nasi Briyani there. It was okay and maybe because I’m hungry. I bought Ralph Lauren Shirt which on sale.
We took ferry ride to Hong Kong Island. Our next destination is Time Square. We took MTR from Central Station to Causeway Bay. In Time Square, I bought few Zara’s Shirts, Armani Exchange’s Shirt, and few Gant’s Shirts. Time was too fast. We both thoroughly enjoyed our shopping time together.
So now, it’s time to go back. We took MTR then stop in Central than ferry back to Tsim Sha Tsui. Actually we can take MTR straight back to Mongkok but we haven’t had the opportunity of such moment together, cruising with Ferry, walk side by side, talking and giggling, laughing out loud and make fun of ourselves. It was a beautiful moment. Even though I was too tired and my legs, only God knows. While walking to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station, we stop at McD for some Shakes and Sunday ice cream. And I stop at Esprit to finish all the money I brought for shopping. I bought one T-shirt.
Day four; we had our breakfast in the room as usual, packed our luggage and all the stuff, than checked out. Bus waited for us at 11:30am to Airport for our flight back home.
