Lost World of Tambun

20th December 2007, cuti-cuti Malaysia.. Was quite fun, driving from KL at 11:15am to Ipoh with almost 3 hours stucked in the jam. Stop at R&R Tapah for sembahyang and makan. Continue our journey, reached Ipoh almost 5pm.. Then we got lost in Ipoh town. After check in, kami terus ke rumah our makcik (C'besah) di Kuaters Polis Tentera. Nenek Melaka pun ada kat rumah dia, cuma husband C'besah saja takde coz gi bertugas kat sempadan. Malam tu dinner Nasi Impit, kuah kacang and Rendang Ayam... fuuhhh berasap!! Masakan orang Negori lah kata kan... keluar air hidung semua... Bila semua dah kekenyangan, kami pulang ke hotel untuk tidur...

Semua dah tak sabar nak berenang, kami ke Tambun selepas breakfast. Not far, about 15 minutes from hotel. My aunt and his son ikut sama. Park rates adalah; Adult-RM22.90, Children (below 12 years old) RM17.90, Children below 90cm in height Free of Charge. Senior citizen sama harga dengan children (so jangan lupa tanya), they will ask for their IC as a proof. And another thing, ask if any credit card promotion's available, coz there is no information about credit card. At that day, it was 20% discount for Citibank card holder for a maximum of 6 paxs. Jimat kan.
No outside food is allowed, but food is consider cheap. Either you all nak makan di restaurant or bungkus. They also cater for gatherings like corporate events, family day, wedding reception, private function and birthday party here! The kids main sampai tak sedar bila nak makan. Panggil makan pun taknak. Ada jugak tiger valley kat sana. Lepas main air sejuk at the end, all of us jump into Tambun Hot Springs. Baru lah tak sakit badan...

Bila semua dah puas, actually bila park dah nak tutup (6pm), kami semua pun baliklah ke rumah my aunt untuk makan malam, coz nenek sudah masak. At first we all plan nak ke Jusco and Ipoh Parade, tapi bila dah lepas makan, terus balik hotel & tidur.. Dah keletihan.

Esok pagi lepas breakfast, lebih kurang pukul 12:30pm, kami pun bertolak balik ke Klang. Stop 1 hour at R&R Ulu Bernam for Sembahyang and lunch.











Back home by 4:00pm.....
