An Evening With Jim Brickman
Date: 05 August 2006 (Saturday)
Time: 8.00pm
Venue: Arena of Stars
Widely-acclaimed concert performer Jim Brickman returns to Genting Highlands after a three-year absence to mesmerise fans with more romantic hits and ballads. Born and raised in Ohio, Jim's career in music started when he was 19, writing tunes for Sesame Street and commercial jingles.
From there, he went on to revolutionise the sound of Adult Contemporary music with his pop-style solo piano performances. He has an impressive recording career with several Top 40 radio hits, one Platinum-selling album and a 2003 Grammy nomination. Four of his albums, 'By Heart', 'Picture This', 'The Gift' and 'Destiny' have qualified as gold records in the United States.
Jim never fails to captivate his audience in his popular live concerts in more than 125 cities in the United States each year, not to mention sold out performances in Europe and Asia. Guest artistes for this coming concert are international artiste Phoebe Stripes and Malaysian diva Fauziah Latiff.

I went there with my sisters Jue & Ninie. Shows started at 8:00pm and ended at about 10:30pm. I asked (actually forced) my sisters to buy me Fauziah Latiff’s CD, Pesona. Beautiful songs by Jim Brickman but sang by Jee in Malay. After the show, we went to have some 'makan-makan' at one of the restaurant, and we manage to watch Akademi Fantasia, the results. Stay one night at Genting View Resort.
We woke up a little bit late, had breakfast in the room (biscuits & nescaffe) and leaving the resort after 12:00pm. We had lunch in Genting Sempah and my sister suggested dropping by at One Utama for “small” shopping. Believe it or not, we finished our shopping at 8:30pm (few hundred bucks only), after that dinner at “Laksa Shack”. Reached home almost 10:00pm.
