My Jakarta trip -
Well, Jakarta was not in my next planning trip but yet I’ve made a very short think and I do need to rejuvenate. So, here I am. Took MAS Airbus 330. I saw Misha Omar, on the same flight. Why she’s coming to Jakarta? Trying to penetrate the Indonesian market or holiday.. naah… not my problem!.. Okay! Arrived at Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Jakarta at about 14:35 WIB. Traffic Jam’s everywhere in Jakarta! Staying in Ciputra Hotel so that I can just walk down to Ciputra Mall at anytime for shopping. I got a slight headache. Please don’t spoil my holiday. After shower, go down to Ciputra Mall and had my very 1st dinner at Jakarta, Hoka-Hoka Bento.. after so long!! The shopping center closed at about 21:00 WIB.
My 2nd day – I’m home alone! Took my shower, breakfast, watch TV, reading Lyn Andrews’s When Daylight Comes and RELAX… that was good!! Nobody disturb you!! In the evening, out for some shopping at Batik Kris and after that went for Sauna and swimming… Had dinner at Pondok Laguna restaurant- somewhere in Jakarta. It was hot but nice! (Pedas lagi enak!!) I like the Tauhu Goreng Udang.. I thought of mintak lagi, tapi malu.. he..he.. and also the Gurame Goreng Garing.. wow! The prawns also nice.. emmm… all nice lahh….
My 3rd day – Home alone again!! Took my shower, breakfast, watch TV, reading Lyn Andrews’s When Daylight Comes and RELAX… but I don’t feel good… something must be gone wrong with the food I took this morning… Feel horrible!! In the evening, shopping again, then went to gym for a while, but still bad… I tell myself, I’m going to be strong! Had my shower and ready for dinner at Haikal Restaurant… My body becomes very weak but I don’t want everybody to know that I’m sick, so I continue to eat, but actually I don’t really eat… We had steamboat but I transfer most of the food into other’s plate… Going back to hotel and brooobbbb… and I transfer everything into the toilet bowl…vomiting… he… he… At about 02:00 WIB, I ran into the toilet, again… I had abdominal pain, feel bloating, nausea, dizziness… oohhh it’s diarrhea.
My 4th day – Had breakfast at Oh! La La café in Ciputra Mall… Looking for some medicine for my stomach bloating… I had fever suddenly, maybe due to the diarrhea. Checked out from the hotel at about 12:00 WIB. Checking into Ibis Slipi Hotel and had lunch at Natrabu Restaurant somewhere near Menteng. After lunch, looking high and low for Taman Sari Royal Heritage SPA in Jl KH Wahid Hasyim, which I already made the booking earlier. A very long walk (with all the fever), but had a very nice and good treatment, it was superb… After the SPA, had tea at Komala’s in Serina and going back to hotel… toilet addicted …
My 5th day – It’s a shopping day… To Taman Angerek Mall then to Plaza Senayan… Had dinner at Planet Hollywood Jakarta… Watch F1, which I’m a bit upset with McLaren… pity Kimi Raikkonen after a rear wing failure sent him crashing out of the German Grand. He’s very disappointed, (I am too) as things were looking good… He was quicker than ‘him’ after the first pitstop, all of a sudden!
My last day – Checked out of the hotel at about 12:30 WIB, took taxi to Bandara (Airport). Had Hoka-Hoka Bento for lunch and chow…
