Life Goes On

by Firehouse When I met a medicine man he said "Don't just lie in bed Every cure for what you need is in your head!" He said "You don't need a compass or a map to find your way Just don't give up and give it all you got each and every day!" Chorus: You got to pick yourself up'cause life goes on No matter where you end uplife goes on You've just got to get up'cause life goes on And don't you ever give up'cause life goes on.... Well it ain't some kind of secret or some special master plan Just be yourself and do the best you can And here's a little lesson to get you on your way Just don't give up give it all you got each and every day

The Path of True Love

You can't get what you want, till you know what you want. Sometimes you start feeling lost and lonely, then you found out it's all been in your mind, sometimes you think someone is the one and only, sometimes you keep busy reaching out for something, you don't care, there's always something there. Life is never easy and there is happiness and sorrows. Everyone must learn to lead their own lives and it is only through mistakes that we learn to be strong. I cried, I laughed, I cried and I laughed again... it's like a rhythm.

Nocturnal leg cramps

Have you ever experience leg cramps? You’re sleeping peacefully when all of sudden a painful sensation pierces your leg, jolting you awake. I had such bad leg cramping last night while I was sleeping, it woke me up! Ouch.. the pain made me crying.. I can feel it untill today. I don't have anybody to help me, got to do it myself, so, what I did last night was straighten my leg and flex my foot toward the knee. Grab the toes and pull them upward toward the knee. I feel my calf muscles stretching. These cramps are sudden, involuntary contractions of the calf muscles that occur during the night or while at rest. Occasionally, muscles in the soles of the feet also become cramped. The sensation can last a few seconds or up to 10 minutes, but the soreness may linger. The cramps can affect persons in any age-group, but they tend to occur in middle-aged and older populations. (Am I into the middle-aged group???) No one knows for sure what causes nocturnal leg cramps. In many cases, there do...

Seven Wonders

Ever wonder what are seven wonders? Seven Wonders of the Ancient World The final list of the Seven Wonders was compiled during the Middle Ages. The list comprised the seven most impressive monuments of the Ancient World, some of which barely survived to the Middle Ages. Others did not even co-exist. Among the oldest references to the canonical list are the engravings by the Dutch artist Maerten van Heemskerck (1498-1574), and Johann Fischer von Erlach's History of Architecture. A gigantic stone structure near the ancient city of Memphis, serving as a tomb for the Egyptian Pharaoh Khufu - The Great Pyramid of Giza A palace with legendary gardens built on the banks of the Euphrates river by King Nebuchadnezzar II - The Hanging Gardens of Babylon An enormous statue of the Greek father of gods, carved by the great sculptor Pheidias - The Statue of Zeus at Olympia A beautiful temple in Asia Minor erected in honor of the Greek goddess of hunting and wild nature - The Temple of Artemi...

Yogyakarta

I plan to go to Yogyakarta next month (September)! Always wanted to see Borobudur.. one of the seven wonders.. ( rather then spend money to places i'd been before.. ni statement kecewa dgn recreational club ) The romantic and picturesque city of Yogyakarta lies at the very center of Java's cultural heartland. The ancient temples of Borobudur and Prambanan, the extraordinary living museum of the Sultan's Palace and Water Castle, the silversmith village at Kotagede, batik home industry, dance and art academies, a nationally acclaimed university, all are located within the environs of Yogyakarta. Direct Flight (2.5hrs) via MAS - every Monday, Wednesday & Saturday at 1:40pm approximately RM691.00 (inclusive tax) Hotel : not sure.. But I thought of coming back by train to Jakarta, stay 1 or 2 nights then take a flight back to KLIA. When will be the right time? 31st August 2005
